PRESTIGE F4, THE FIRST MODEL OF THE NEW F-LINE GENERATION
Finally, the Jeanneau-Beneteau group, which builds the Prestige brand, has announced a new model for the F for Flybridge category. It’s the F4 model.
For over 10 years, the Prestige flybridge range has been an undisputed success. They have sold many fly models, in particular the 50 fly and then the 52 fly.
Yachtsmen always like to see improvements, particularly in the cockpit area. It has to be said that the traditional approach has been replaced for some years now. Absolute Yachts and Sunseeker yachts have undergone a major change since Sanlorenzo introduced the new concept of being close to the water in the cockpit area.
Indeed, the traditional concept of looking at the patio door when sitting on the rear seat in the cockpit area seems to be a thing of the past, or at least is tending to disappear.
Just think of the new SEADECK from manufacturer Azimut, due to appear in 2024 and 2025. (link to article).
So Prestige announces its new F4 model for Europe, but nothing is specified for North America.
But let’s wait until we can visit it in person to give a more accurate assessment. Let’s hope it will be at Cannes 2023.
Here’s what the manufacturer has to say about it:
Inspired by the movement of water, the elegant, fluid exterior lines of the new hull of the F4 marry perfectly with the polished surfaces of living spaces, reflecting an abundance of natural light. Curves have been meticulously studied to confer softness, refinement, and power to the whole. The exterior and interior furnishings have been reinvented to offer exceptional comfort for all on board.
Particular attention has been paid to the selection of new materials, such as natural stone, sculpted woodwork, and wicker. Designed by Garroni Design, the F4 heralds the design of future models of the F-Line, featuring even greater comfort and an exceptional level of finish.
