ABSOLUTE YACHTS 52 FLY NEW MODEL 2024
The flybridge range is about to undergo a complete overhaul. For the 2024 model year, it’s the turn of the flybridge 52 to undergo a redesign inspired by the flybridge 56 and flybridge 60 models.
The flybridge 62, flybridge 50 and also the 48 flybridge remain with the old configuration. Let’s bet that this will be the case for the next few years.
But is Absolute still going to maintain all these models with so little difference in terms of length?
The new look of the Flybridge 52 is very appealing, especially with the new cockpit layout. The windows are abundant and this model features three bedrooms, with the galley still close to the patio door.
The architects at Absolute Group have opted for an owner’s bedroom located at the front of the yacht for this new 52 Flybridge model, which is a little surprising. But the bedroom in the center of the boat is also interesting.
For the 56 and 60 flybridge models, owners have a choice: both the VIP and the bedroom in the center of the yacht can be used as the master.
But those who want to maximize the chances of not hearing the waves lapping against the hull will certainly prefer the one in the center of the boat.
This approach is quite unique for the manufacturer Absolute, i.e. to create two owner spaces for a length of less than 65 feet.
These are still Class B yachts (EEC classification) with Volvo IPS propulsion.
At the time of writing, no new models have been announced for the Navetta range.
The Absolute 52 FLY is being presented at Cannes (Sept 2023) and will probably be at the Miami Yacht Show (Feb 2024).
The MSRP for this Absolute 52 Fly is around $2.4 million USD (approx).
