New Lagoon Seventy 8 – 2018

With nearly 3600 catamarans sold worldwide, the CNB-Lagoon shipyard is the world leader in the sector, ahead of the South African Leopard and the French Fountaine-Pajot and Catana-Bali.

There is, of course, the manufacturer Sunreef, but it produces few catamarans a year but are very high-end models. The smallest measures 50 feet. In the power range, it produces from 60 to 210 feet, with sails 50-165 feet.

While the Dusseldorf Boat Show opens its doors, the year 2017 which has just ended for CNB-Lagoon, the world leader in the pleasure catamaran market (with around 30% of market share), it has been a particularly good year.

The yard will have exceeded the 400 boats sold, beating its own record for the third year in a row, with a turnover of 23% to 230 million euros,

Within three years, the production capacity of CNB-Lagoon should increase from 400 to 700 catamarans.

The Lagoon shipyard owes this success to an orientation based on the upmarket (luxury, quality) of its boats on the market. The success is confirmed with the renewal of its range with the Lagoon 40 and 50 but without forgetting its breakthrough with Lagoon Seventy 7 (sails) and Seventy 8 (engines only).

LAGOON

The Lagoon SEVENTY 8 Motor Yacht definitely turns heads. This long range cruiser with the comfort and volume of a high end condo or a 130 foot monohull!

Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, 2017, the flagship received instant recognition, claiming the Yachts France Trophy for Motor Catamaran of the Year 2017.
