Fountaine-Pajot announces the arrival of the new: MY40 power catamaran

We are really in the era of the motor catamaran, the manufacturers have on their drawing tables several models in preparation to be ready to offer what the boater wants.

Let’s say that Fountaine-Pajot is part of the popular boat, at affordable price. All Catamarans are category B. Depending on your use, this category does not prevent you from enjoying a boat that will give you a lot of fun, to be well thought out. The proof, Fontaine-Pajot has manufactured boats for more than 40 years.

Personally, I think that this type of boat will seduce many boaters who thought about a sailboat or a trawler and why not even a cruiser.

It will have three rooms, including that of the owners that will occupy the entire port hull. The fly bridge will be really inviting, the main deck is spacious and comfortable, the cockpit will be protected by the flybridge, plenty of seating and with propulsion, Volvo IPS with two choices.

It will be presented at the Boat Show in Dusseldorf next January (2019). The MSRP is still not known.

So, delivery would probably be in the summer of 2019 for this new unit. You can always fall back on the new MY44 if time is running out. The MY44 MSRP is around $ 1.2 million US.

The competition is major for this type of boat (catamaran), Lagoon took a lot of market last year by making a quality boat. The other most popular manufacturers are: Leopard, Aquila, Robertson & Caine, Horizon, Sunreef to name only a few.
