The Bahia Mar marina site in Fort Lauderdale is about to undergo major changes.
A US$1 billion project has just been unveiled to the public (March 18, 2024). Four condo towers and a hotel will be built on the site.
But what’s going to happen with the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the largest and most important boat show in the world?
For the moment, there’s little news available. But promoters say they plan to keep FLIBS on site.
But it looks like the new PORT 32 marina at the corner of Highway 95 and 84 will play a new role at FLIBS.
So we’ll keep a close eye on that. But let’s bet that the next FLIBS 2024 edition will be held at the usual site, as in previous years.
