Port 32 Fort Lauderdale on New River, new docking for boats and Yachts.

PORT 32

A new facility now accommodates boats on Fort Lauderdale’s New River. Given the growth in demand for boat and yacht space in recent years, this facility will be very popular with boaters.

Interestingly, the New River at this level offers an almost totally freshwater environment. A rare river to offer this potential in this part of South Florida.

It’s designed primarily for boats 55 feet and under who want DRY DOCKING. The capacity is 278 dry storage spaces for this size of boat. But it can also accommodate yachts up to 180 feet. The dock itself can accommodate up to 32 boats.

The marina’s boat-moving equipment includes a 150-ton mobile elevator that can transport boats up to 120 feet long, a 60-ton yard transporter and a forklift with a lifting cabin.

The installation is designed to withstand winds of up to 175 mph.
