New Sunseeker 161 yacht with an aluminum hull
The Sunseeker manufacturer has announced the construction of its first all-aluminum yacht. This will be the Sunseeker 161 Yacht. For this realization, Sunseeker partners with the manufacturer of ICON to realize this yacht.
The major shipyards in the world are working hard to produce yachts over 100 feet as this category of 100-180 feet is becoming very popular. This may be related to the rapid growth of multi-millionaires and billionaires in the world.
It will have a configuration to accommodate 10 or 12 guests. It will be powered by two powerful MTU engines, which will allow it to reach more than 20 kn, which is still rare for this category.
Sunseeker announces that hull one (1) should be ready early 2021. It will be built by ICON whose factory is located in the Netherlands (Europe). This country is a large producer of mega and super yachts.
