New Pershing 7X – 2020
During the Dusseldorf Boat Show (January 2020), Pershing Yacht, a division of the Ferretti Group, revealed its new Pershing 7X.
The Ferretti Group defines it like this: AT THE LIGHT SPEED …
It is strongly inspired by other 8X and 9X models. I’m talking about the famous wings in the cockpit area. It is of course magnificent but it had lost its mini-flybridge which is present on the current model (in the range of 70-80 ft) the Pershing 74. The 8X and 9X models have a flybridge but it remains very discreet, is to say not very visible for those who look past the yacht in front of them (what a pleasure).
Let’s say it’s a surprising choice. A mini-fly seems very appreciated by boaters. A mini-fly allows the best of both worlds especially when it is discreet. Azimut and Princess, two significant manufacturers in the industry with their S series, they are built with a fly or available for 70 ft and more. For Princess, the S62, S66 and the famous S78 models all have a flyer.
At Azimut Yacht, the S7 and S8 and also the new S10 also have flys.
Of course, the Pershing 7X is still heavily motorized with its two MAN engines which total 1,800 hp. He is able to wait for more than 50 KN, which is unique and exceptional. This is achieved in part thanks to the surface propellers.
So here is a high performance yacht, you just have to pay the price … (alas).
