New Azimut S10

New Azimut S10

To celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, the Italian manufacturer AZIMUT will produce a sport yacht over 91 feet. The S10 promises a lot of superlatives (probably available for Cannes Boat show 2019).

Azimut is the no. 1 worldwide for more than 19 years in a row, without interruption. It is time for a  party!

The new S7 has been very well received by boaters and industry and we are betting that the S6 announced for the fall of 2018 will be too.

It seems that the Azimut-Benetti shipyard which radiated (king and master) in the years 2000-2010 by literally dominating the market, wants to take back this position of undisputed leader, which is at the moment coveted especially by the Italian Group Ferretti which manufactures Riva, Pershing, Ferretti, Custom Line, Itama, Mochi Craft and CRN. The Ferretti Group has for some years been the property of Chinese interests as is the Sunseeker shipyard.

European shipyards seem to anticipate an increase in the demand for a very high quality, luxurious yacht, using high-end materials such as carbon fiber and innovative in terms of design, layout, in short we will be far from the value boat which is popular right now.

The english shipyard, Princess Yacht, seems to be banking on the same opening of the market for this category of yacht. The brands RIVA and Pershing already operates in this category. The Sanlorenzo and Sunseeker shipyards are also in this direction, for example:  increase of the production capacity, production of new very innovative model with a concern regarding the quality of manufacture and the choice of materials.

In short, the next few years will be prolific, great news.
