A real exploration yacht: NORDHAVN
The famous manufacturer NORDHAVN has just announced the production of two new hulls. This is a new N625 and the new N71.
They’ll no doubt appeal to boaters who want something a little different, yet very rugged, reliable, luxurious, and have can travel a very long distance on a tank of fuel.
Of course, speed will never be a basic criterion for these NORDHAVNs, but function, reliability, in short, an excellent boat.

The N625 will retain the same footprint as the N60, but will also feel entirely different, Leishman said. Due to its ‘line cleaning’ the flybridge is slightly larger, the cabin windows will be larger and seats have been added to the foredeck. “It will look lighter and brighter and give the impression of a bigger boat,” he said, although in terms of size it is almost identical. Now information on the NORDHAVN N71:
The N71 is an all-new hull, created especially for those in the upper mid-range who desire the aesthetics of one of Nordhavn’s larger yachts, but want to be able to get by without a crew.
The Nordhavn 71 is available in two configurations: a three-cabin layout with skylounge, or a layout that incorporates a fourth cabin in place of the skylounge. Although decidedly smaller than the 80, the N71 mimics its twin model setup, clean lines and advanced level of engineering.
This new model was designed with Nordhavn’s in-house fluid dynamics calculation program. As is the case with all long-distance Nordhavns, she will have ocean crossing capability and will be built to the strictest CE certification standard for use at sea.
