New project for Sunseeker : Sunseeker 8X
The prestigious UK firm (UK) SUNSEEKER has just announced the production of a new range of yachts called: Sunseeker 8X
This new range will be presented in the autumn of 2020, so probably for the Cannes Boat Show in September 2020.
Sunseeker presented some preliminary pictures at the Boat Show in Düsseldorf. I present them to you immediately. It is about a series between 80 and 90 feet.
It should be understood that the Chinese owners of Sunseeker Group (Dalian Wanda) have decided to put more money into research and development. It is certain that profitability is more interesting in large units.
Other manufacturers such as the Ferretti Group (also Chinese-owned), the Sanlorenzo Group and the Azimut-Benetti Group continue to invest in the 90-130-ft category. Sunseeker had to announce new models to stay in the race.
Princess Yachts, the other big English group in Plymouth, is already growing and never ceases to amaze the industry by producing new models.
The five major global manufacturers are still very active, so much the better.
