New Azimut 50 Flybridge, galley up edition …
The # 1 shipyard in the world, the Azimut-Benetti Group has understood the boater’s message and has done its homework. The first version of the Azimut 50 Flybridge had the galley located near the staterooms, seperated from family and friends sitting in the living room or at the dinette.
At the request of the boaters, they canceled the dinette, they replaced it with the kitchen, and the space of the lower deck was also refitted for storage (great) allowing the choice for an additional fridge, a washer / dryer and more storage.
This new configuration is really up to date. Now we have a large living room with sofas facing each other, followed by the kitchen and the cockpit, this is the ideal configuration to create a friendly environment. It is true that now almost all manufacturers have eliminated the dinette under the 60 foot bar.
Indeed, it is much more pleasant to have a meal or a snack, either in the cockpit area or on the flybridge while relaxing. It is always possible to eat in the living room with the living room table (extra) which can be transformed easily.
Let’s start with the hydraulic platform, the large cockpit and access to the crew cabin. The patio door for entry into the yacht is perfect (in stainless, not aluminium), it allows a large opening on a very welcoming lounge.
But the best place (as always) is on the flybridge. Vast, comfortable, luxurious, which allows all activities. The wetbar allows to enjoy this space for a long period of time. The back of the fly is converted into a lounge area that will please everyone.
Of course, it is possible to add a hard-top and the section at the front of the yacht can also be converted into a lounge for those who like to be near the water.
There are three staterooms and two heads and luxury is omni present. The ventilation ducts are discreet, but effective. We are always taken away by the way Azimut integrates luxury and well thought out layouts.
On the technical side, nothing has be spared: a hydraulic platform, a telescopic gangway, Seakeeper stabilization, Humphrey stabilizers, a very powerful generator, joystick, bow and stern truster, power available to reach and exceed 30 kn, in short, everything is aboard for smooth and calm navigation.
