Cannes Yachting Festival 2025
The CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL kicks off today (September 9-14).
Here are some photos from the event. This is the first major BOAT SHOW since the arrival of the infamous American tariffs, which are profoundly disrupting the boating industry. It must be said that Americans represent approximately 25% to 35% of orders for some manufacturers. Therefore, any drop in orders has a significant impact on the industry for small and medium-sized boats.
For megayachts, it’s a little different, but it still affects the industry. Of course, the economic uncertainty created by these new tariffs is delaying some purchase plans for many boaters.
But attending a BOAT SHOW remains an essential pleasure for all boaters. After Cannes, it will be the FORT LAUDERDALE Boat Show, the largest boat show in the world, which takes place this year (2025) oct 29 to nov 02 . More than 1,300 boats will be on display. This will be the 66th edition. It’s a must-see.
