{"id":2581,"date":"2014-09-18T19:16:54","date_gmt":"2014-09-18T19:16:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/itayachtscanada.com\/?p=2581"},"modified":"2014-09-18T19:16:54","modified_gmt":"2014-09-18T19:16:54","slug":"stabilization-system-for-yacht","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itayachtscanada.com\/fr\/stabilization-system-for-yacht\/","title":{"rendered":"Syst\u00e8mes de stabilisation pour les yachts d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bienvenue syst\u00e8mes de stabilisation, adieu mal de mer !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roulis \u00e0 l\u2019ancre, en mode navigation, les syst\u00e8mes anti mal de c\u0153ur.<br \/>\nIl existe sur le march\u00e9 plusieurs syst\u00e8mes capables d\u2019\u00e9liminer ce qu\u2019on appelle le \u2018rolling\u2019, ou en fran\u00e7ais le roulis, c\u2019est ce mouvement lat\u00e9ral de gauche \u00e0 droite qu\u2019on ressent lorsqu\u2019on est \u00e0 bord d\u2019un bateau et qui provoque les naus\u00e9es, les hauts-le-c\u0153ur, surtout \u00e0 basse vitesse ou encore \u00e0 l\u2019ancre.<\/p>\n<p>Le roulis est en effet le mouvement le plus d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able et le plus d\u00e9routant quand on arrive de la terre ferme. Il est inconfortable, fatiguant et probablement la plus grande cause de mal de mer. Il est le prix in\u00e9vitable \u00e0 payer pour certaines personnes, pour le plaisir d\u2019\u00eatre sur l\u2019eau. Ce n\u2019est pas le mouvement de vague avant\/arri\u00e8re (tangage) qui est la source la plus fr\u00e9quente du mal de mer mais bien celui de gauche \u00e0 droite, je veux ici \u00eatre bien claire \u00e0 ce sujet. Il faut faire la diff\u00e9rence entre le roulis et le tangage.<br \/>\nAfin de pallier \u00e0 cet inconfort, diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes sont propos\u00e9s par divers manufacturiers depuis quelques ann\u00e9es et qui sont maintenant disponibles sur des bateaux inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 100 pieds. Pour les amateurs de nautisme navigant sur des bateaux de 50 pieds et plus, c\u2019est en soi une petite r\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, ces syst\u00e8mes sont assez dispendieux \u00e0 l\u2019achat, ils constituent une option couteuse mais combien agr\u00e9able puisqu\u2019ils sont en mesure de vous procurer \u00e0 vous et vos proches un confort jusque-l\u00e0 impossible \u00e0 obtenir lorsque la mer est mouvement\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Plusieurs propri\u00e9taires envisagent de changer de bateau afin de se procurer un tel syst\u00e8me tellement leur efficacit\u00e9 est grande et surprenante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Les diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes<\/strong><br \/>\nIl existe diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes offerts sur le march\u00e9. Il y a les stabilisateurs de type GYRO (pour gyroscope) offerts par exemple par Mitsubishi et Seakeeper et il y a les syst\u00e8mes de type FINS. Il existe d\u2019autres types de stabilisation, mais nous allons nous limiter \u00e0 ces deux types les plus souvent utilis\u00e9s pour les yachts de plaisance.<\/p>\n<p>La diff\u00e9rence majeure entre les deux, c\u2019est que les types Gyro sont install\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du bateau, rien d\u2019apparent n\u2019est install\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du bateau. En ce qui concerne les types FINS, il y a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019installer des m\u00e9canismes ext\u00e9rieurs (sur les deux cot\u00e9s du bateau) afin de stabiliser le bateau.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux syst\u00e8mes offrent la stabilisation \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat (\u00e0 l\u2019ancre ou z\u00e9ro speed) comme en mode de navigation. Bien s\u00fbr, dans le cas des FINS, il faut faire attention de ne pas accrocher ou frapper un objet, car il y a risque de dommage.<\/p>\n<p><a du march\u00e9, les plus, les moins<\/strong><br \/>\nLa tendance observ\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 quand au choix des plaisanciers sont pour le moment difficile \u00e0 cerner. Les deux syst\u00e8mes sont tr\u00e8s efficaces et les manufacturiers sont s\u00e9rieux et r\u00e9put\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut dire que pour les bateaux de moins de 90 pieds, les types Gyro semblent plus populaires.<br \/>\nOn parle de r\u00e9duction du roulis de 50% \u00e0 80%. Ce qui est tr\u00e8s significatif. Bien s\u00fbr, ils vont exiger le fonctionnement d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice afin de produire l\u2019\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 son fonctionnement, mais on parle alors de 2 \u00e0 5 kw par Gyro.<\/p>\n<p>Le stabilisateur Seakeeper quant \u00e0 lui n\u00e9cessite la mise en place d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de refroidissement bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019eau, il faut \u00e0 ce moment veill\u00e9 sur l\u2019usure des anodes. Ce qui n\u2019est pas le cas du syst\u00e8me propos\u00e9 par Mitsubishi.<\/p>\n<p>Mais il faut dire que le syst\u00e8me offert par Seakeeper est tr\u00e8s populaire et il est offert par presque tous les manufacturiers de yachts de plus de 50 pieds.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs stabilisateurs de type Gyro peuvent \u00eatres install\u00e9s sur un m\u00eame bateau pour atteindre le niveau de stabilisation d\u00e9sir\u00e9. En effet, selon le gabarit du bateau (poids, longueur), deux, trois ou quatre unit\u00e9s peuvent \u00eatres install\u00e9s. L\u2019avantage des Gyros c\u2019est qu\u2019ils peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s un peu partout dans le bateau (du centre vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re du bateau). Mais habituellement, il y a un syst\u00e8me con\u00e7u pour chaque grosseur de yacht.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, il faut que le manufacturier tienne compte de l\u2019installation de cet \u00e9quipement. Mais ils sont \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du bateau sous la ligne de flottaison mais pas compl\u00e8tement sous le bateau (comme les nageoires pectorales d\u2019un dauphin). Ils bougent de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 stabiliser le bateau et certains ont m\u00eame des extensions afin d\u2019augmenter leur efficacit\u00e9 lorsqu\u2019ils sont op\u00e9r\u00e9s en mode<br \/>\nz\u00e9ro speed (le bateau est \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat).<\/p>\n<p>Presque tous les yachts (modernes) de plus de 100 pieds poss\u00e8dent ce type de stabilisation.<br \/>\nPlusieurs manufacturiers fabriquent ces stabilisateurs : Quantum, Side-power, Rolls-Royce, CMC marine, etc. Le prix est inf\u00e9rieur au Gyro selon la capacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><a fonctionnement des Gyros<\/strong><br \/>\nJe vous explique sommairement le mode de fonctionnement des Gyros. C\u2019est en gros, une boule (sph\u00e8re) qui tourne \u00e0 une vitesse tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e et qui provoque une certaine force G oppos\u00e9e \u00e0 celle qui est exerc\u00e9e sur le navire (par la mer) de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 neutraliser le mouvement (en partie bien s\u00fbr) qui provoque le roulis (explication sommaire et simplifi\u00e9e).<\/p>\n<p>Comme il faut que la sph\u00e8re tourne vraiment rapidement (10,000 tours\/minute), vous comprendrez qu\u2019il faut au moins 20 minutes (approximativement) avant qu\u2019elle soit pleinement efficace, donc un temps d\u2019attente et il faut que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice fonctionne. Il y a aussi un temps d\u2019arr\u00eat. Le mode de fonctionnement est tr\u00e8s silencieux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le prix<\/strong><br \/>\nEn g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, il faut d\u00e9bourser environ $100,000 US par unit\u00e9 (prix approximatif). Mais la valeur de revente de votre bateau est rehauss\u00e9e et les acheteurs de yachts d&rsquo;occasions recherchent ce syst\u00e8me en priorit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Je vais maintenant vous donner mon opinion personnelle. J\u2019ai exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 les deux syst\u00e8mes lors de mes livraisons de yachts italiens en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Je pense que le meilleur syst\u00e8me \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat (z\u00e9ro speed) est le gyroscope. C\u2019est un syst\u00e8me facile d\u2019op\u00e9ration pour le plaisancier. Ils sont tr\u00e8s efficaces et performants. Mais en mode navigation dans une mer agit\u00e9e, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u00e9croit rapidement surtout si la vitesse du bateau d\u00e9passe les 10 \u00e0 15 kn.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 ce moment que l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des FINS est vraiment sup\u00e9rieure. Les fins sont toujours dans l\u2019eau, ils stabilisent le yacht en le soulevant presque (plut\u00f4t une impression). D\u00e8s que le yacht enregistre une certaine vitesse, on dirait qu\u2019on per\u00e7oit leur efficacit\u00e9 par rapport aux Gyros. On dirait qu\u2019ils cr\u00e9ent un effet de portance.<\/p>\n<p>Mais les FINS \u00e0 z\u00e9ro speed (bateau \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat), \u00e7a brassent de l\u2019eau, il leur faut beaucoup d\u2019amplitude, ce qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas \u00e0 la base. Ils doivent travailler tr\u00e8s fort. Pour leurs donner de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e0 z\u00e9ro speed, on doit les grossir, ce qui cr\u00e9e des effets moins d\u00e9sirables en mode navigation. On doit choisir entre efficacit\u00e9 en mode d\u00e9placement (pas d\u2019effet \u2018\u2019drag\u2019\u2019, pas d\u2019augmentation de la consommation de carburant) ou efficacit\u00e9 \u00e0 z\u00e9ro speed (syst\u00e8me occupe plus d\u2019espace dans le bateau), choix difficile.<\/p>\n<p>Les contraintes \u00e9num\u00e9r\u00e9es pour les FINS doivent \u00eatres mise en perspective en regard du type de coque. En effet, sur les yachts \u00e0 coque \u00e0 semi-d\u00e9placement, l&rsquo;effet n\u00e9gatif des FINS est moins significatifs que pour les coques semi-planantes (rapide).<\/p>\n<p>Certains manufacturiers de FINS on introduit une inclinaison, une courbure dans les FINS afin de r\u00e9duire en partie les effets n\u00e9gatifs. Les rapports d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019un tel type de FINS semblent tr\u00e8s favorables.<\/p>\n<p>Il y aussi les nouveaux stabilisateurs bas\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;effet Magnus, techniquement cela semble r\u00e9volutionnaire et comporte plusieurs avantages comparativement aux FINS conventionnels. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un cylindre de chaque cot\u00e9 du bateau qui va se d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 sur demande et qui va cr\u00e9e (en tournant d&rsquo;un sens et dans l&rsquo;autre) un effet de pouss\u00e9 ou de lev\u00e9 selon les besoins. Nous allons suivre de pr\u00e8s l&rsquo;introduction de ce syst\u00e8me et nous allons vous en rendre compte au cours des prochains mois (voir l&rsquo;image plus bas qui montre un cylindre).<\/p>\n<p>En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, les FINS n\u00e9cessitent un entretien (une surveillance) et une certaine attention de la part du capitaine. Mais, ils fonctionnent d\u00e8s qu\u2019ils sont mis en tension.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Id\u00e9alement, \u00e7a prend les deux<\/strong>, si bien s\u00fbr le co\u00fbt n\u2019a pas d\u2019importance pour vous (dans un monde id\u00e9al) et que le gabarit du bateau le permet.<\/p>\n<p>Un fait \u00e0 noter; les yachts con\u00e7us pour la vitesse (les vrais, pas les imitations) doivent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s maniables et leurs coques sont \u00e9labor\u00e9es pour \u00ab se coucher \u00bb en mode virage.
