{"id":11764,"date":"2020-01-16T17:04:41","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T17:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itayachtscanada.com\/?p=11764"},"modified":"2020-01-16T17:04:41","modified_gmt":"2020-01-16T17:04:41","slug":"new-environmental-standard-for-yachts-with-powerful-diesel-engines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itayachtscanada.com\/fr\/new-environmental-standard-for-yachts-with-powerful-diesel-engines\/","title":{"rendered":"Nouvelles normes pour les yachts avec des moteurs diesel puissants."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Les nouvelles normes environnementales pour les moteurs diesel, obligatoire pour \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0le 1 jan 2021 posent probl\u00e8me pour les constructeurs de yachts dans le monde entier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les nouvelles normes d&rsquo;\u00e9missions diesel promulgu\u00e9es par l&rsquo;Organisation maritime internationale (OMI), qui entreront en vigueur le 1er janvier 2021, rendront les motoryachts de plus de 24 m\u00e8tres (79 pi) \u00e0 la fois prohibitifs et pratiquement impossibles \u00e0 construire raisonnablement. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipement actuellement n\u00e9cessaire pour atteindre les nouvelles normes est si encombrant et compliqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il est presque impossible de le mettre dans des motoryachts de 79 &lsquo;(24 m) \u00e0 environ 130&rsquo; (46 m), nous disent les constructeurs et les constructeurs de moteurs. Les constructeurs de moteurs travaillent sur un syst\u00e8me plus compact et plus pratique, mais on est dans plusieurs ann\u00e9es, disent-ils.<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat de cette d\u00e9cision de l&rsquo;OMI tuera efficacement tous les grands b\u00e2timents de yacht \u00e0 moteur par des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s telles que Viking, Hatteras, Burger, Ocean Alexander, Hargrave, Azimut, Ferretti, Princess, Sunseeker, Monte Carlo Yachts, Cheoy Lee, Outer Reef, Nordhavn, Majest\u00e9 et bien d&rsquo;autres dans le monde. Le r\u00e9sultat est que des milliers d&rsquo;artisans et de personnel d&rsquo;atelier seront licenci\u00e9s aux \u00c9tats-Unis et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tranger. La quasi-totalit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;industrie des bateaux en fibre de verre a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise \u00e0 genoux et des dizaines de constructeurs ont cess\u00e9 leurs activit\u00e9s. Des milliers de travailleurs ont perdu leur emploi. De plus, les marques qui ont surv\u00e9cu ont subi tellement de dommages qu&rsquo;elles n&rsquo;ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 les m\u00eames, m\u00eame si la taxe a \u00e9t\u00e9 abrog\u00e9e deux ans plus tard. Les consommateurs am\u00e9ricains paient toujours pour cette folie politique.<\/p>\n<p>Pat Healey, PDG de Viking Yachts, est \u00e0 la t\u00eate du mouvement visant \u00e0 retarder la r\u00e9glementation sur les \u00e9missions de l&rsquo;OMI jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que les motoristes aient mis au point des syst\u00e8mes qui peuvent \u00eatre raisonnablement install\u00e9s. Ces r\u00e8gles de l&rsquo;OMI visent \u00e0 encourager porte-conteneurs, bateaux de croisi\u00e8res et navires de type p\u00e9troliers \u00e0 utiliser des carburants plus propres.<\/p>\n<p>La majorit\u00e9 de ces bateaux utilisent pour l&rsquo;instant du mazout lourd, un carburant visqueux et charg\u00e9 en soufre. Ils peuvent aussi utiliser un mazout all\u00e9g\u00e9 en soufre, ou du carburant diesel, qui ne comprend pas de soufre. Mais ces deux options seraient d&rsquo;un tiers \u00e0 deux fois plus ch\u00e8res que le mazout lourd.<\/p>\n<p>Le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis ont uni leurs efforts pour appliquer ces nouvelles normes. Ici au Canada, le groupe Desgagn\u00e9s a justement command\u00e9 des nouveaux navires pour r\u00e9pondre aux nouvelles normes. Certains manufacturiers regardent du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de nouveaux carburant comme le gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 qui constitue un plan B tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant et qui se r\u00e9v\u00e8le moins couteux que le diesel.<\/p>\n<p>Le Port de Montr\u00e9al offrira d\u2019ailleurs ce nouveau type de carburant, le gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 pour les navires nouvellement \u00e9quip\u00e9s de ce type de moteur qui accepte de carburant.<\/p>\n<p>Cette solution est applicable rapidement sur les cargos commerciaux, mais pas sur les yachts pour les plaisanciers.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a toujours la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019installer des moteurs moins puissants, mais cela n\u2019est pas toujours applicable selon le type de coque et l\u2019usage pr\u00e9vu pour le yacht.
